NOW SEEKING APPLICANTS: AWC PEER CONSULTANT 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work face-to-face and online with clients from across the curriculum and university community.
• Provide writing assistance for a broad range of academic activities: assigned papers; creative work; lab reports, etc.
• Offer support at all stages of the writing process, including pre-writing, drafting, revising, and editing.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Successful completion of EN 112 (or an equivalent approved by the Writing Center director)
• Faculty Recommendation (Alcorn Faculty Only)
• Cover letter/Statement of Purpose
• Writing Sample (Research)
• Résumé- One (1) page
